Coach Harry G. Wilson

    Coach Wilson is respected by college coaches, camp directors, and recruiting services throught the country. This positive regard derives from Wilson's long success in basketball.

    Today, with CaBC, Coach Wilson combines experience and expertise in his elite training program geared to goal-oriented basketball players.

 
    Wilson is from Boston, MA, where he was a three-year prep starter at Boston Latin School, averaging over 20 pts/game. He was All League and All State, and led his team to a league title and semifinals in 1985.

    After high school, Wilson continued his education at University of Massachusetts in Boston, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management. He continued playing basketball, was a four-year starter, and in 1990 became team captain and was voted All League Performer. He ranked in the top five in scoring, 3-pointers made, and 3-point %. Career highlights included a 40-point game, Eight 3's in one game, and 56 consecturive games with at least one 3-pointer.

    Wilson's coaching began in 1990 as a vounteer assistant at UMass, then in 1991 as a graduate assistant coach at University of California, Irvine. He continued at Irvine Valley College and Saddleback College (Mission Viejo) where his teams averaged 20 wins per season. Two members of his squads were Junior College All American First Team: Keon Clark (UNLV) and Antohny Carter (University of Hawaii).

    More recently he has coached in Big West playoffs, the California State Junior College Tournament, and the Say "No" Summer Classic. He has coached at AAU national tournaments in Forida, Las Vegas, Boston, Slam `n Jam, and Pump Discovery in Los Angeles. Wilson has served on staff at camps such as Five Star in Pennsylvania, Eastern Invitational Tournament in New Jersey, Hoop Mountain in Massachusetts, K.C. Jones Basketball School in Vermont, and West Coast All Stars in Santa Barbara.

    Today, athletes are developing skills and fulfilling their aspirations in the goal-setting, goal-achieving CaBC.
